Audi Is Showing Off Their Brand New Combo Of Luxury Electricity

Audi is showing new plans for the 2022 e-tron GT and the RS e-tron GT. Both are performance electric sedans, which happen to be powered by a similar platform to Porsche Taycans. And they are sure getting extravagant about it. The concept was shown back in 2018. Since then, the design has been through several iterations. And just recently, Audi is writing about the most recent electric GT.

Audi had this to say about the vehicle; possessing “classically beautiful design proportions” the Audi e-tron GT is “accentuated by large wheels, a wide track,” and apparently super long wheelbases. What’s more, the long wheelbase is much lower and wider than the Audi A7. This is all while keeping about the same lengt, still.

Furthermore, if aesthetics come from efficiency, then an inverted Singleframe grille tends to change the honeycomb design elements.

In turn, this shows for distinctive quattro blisters above each wheel. Beyond this, a flat greenhouse shows that the sloping roofline defines e-tron GT design.

Couple that with the radiator and brake duct air inlets, and you’ve got yourself some efficiency to complete the velocity. In fact, the inlets can close whenever they are not needed to optimize aerodynamics.

Some Specs On This Audi

The models for the United States are likely to come equipped with standard 20-inch 5-double-spoke alloy wheels. This is much to the surprise of anybody who is not used to Audi and their audacity. The standard at this point for RS e-tron FT models are lightweight vehicles with a five-layer carbon fiber plastic roofs.

As for the powertrain, the e-tron GT has the capability to procure about 175 kilowatts at the front motor and the 320 kilowatts at the rear motor.

Finally, Audi is likely to deliver the 2022 models at some point this summer for US consumption. Audi already has some pricing information ready for the masses.
