BMW 4 Series 2022 offers superb and incredible performance, an opulent interior, and top-draw tech that fits its high price. Those exceptional qualities would easily translate into success for any other luxury vehicle.
BMW 4 Series – M Sport Packages
There are three body styles of your choice: Coupe, Convertible, or Gran Coupe (five-door hatchback). Also, you can tack on M Sport packages to make a 4 Series as capable or as subtle as you please, and have it fully decked out, the performance of the M440i models is very high. The 4 Series is a winner amongst the other German makes. There are a few downsides to the 4 Series which are outside of price and design. In fact, the latter may be a plus, if you’re one who likes, or at least doesn’t mind a nose is controversial.
Also, the BMW does extend the 4 Series lineup this year. The four-door Grand Coupe body style is returning to the mix. There are comparisons to the traditional 3 Series which are inevitable.
In addition to the gas-powered 4 Series Gran Coupe, BMW is launching its electric i4 which uses the same Gran Coupe body style.
Design, In-Car Technology
In fact, the 4 Series interior design and in-car technology are actually identical to that of the 3 Series. The 4 Series interior does sacrifice some of the ergonomic functionality which is in favor of a more eye-catching design with richer materials like that of its sedan sibling.
There is a lot of storage. The controls are easily reached. The design does remain more staid than what you would find in the Mercedes-Benz C Class Coupe. Thus, to dig a little deeper, check out our 3 Series Interior Driveaway Test. The 4 Series comes standard with the latest BMW iDrive 7.0 tech interface. There is an array of ways to accomplish the same tasks – knob, buttons, touchscreen, and voice controls.
